JONESING FOR FILMS

This is my blog dedicated to writing about movies, a medium of entertainment I have loved ever since I was a child growing up on Star Wars and Ghostbusters.  Most of the content will be reviews of current movies in theaters, though from time to time I will hop in the DeLorean and review an older film I watch on a streaming service or from my movie collection.  I also love making lists, so those may pop up from time to time, and certainly at the end of the year as a “Best Of” list.

I mothballed this site back in 2017 to go write for my friends over at OnStage Blog. They made the decision to move on from reviews unless there is an angle that they think would be of interest to their theater audience (which totally makes sense as a theater-centric site) or a unique angle on something. The archive of what I wrote there can be found at https://www.onstageblog.com/onscreenblog/tag/Ken+Jones. I’ll still be writing some things on there for time to time, and anything I do over there I’ll probably link to here, but the majority of my movie reviews will be found here, again, going forward.
